NAI is a speculative design thesis proposing a contemporary Arab art gallery and café in Madrid. Rooted in the symbolism of the nai flute — a metaphor for longing and return to origins — the project blends art, design, food, and storytelling into a multisensory cultural hub.

Through branding, spatial design, and curatorial programming, NAI reimagines Arab identity beyond stereotypes, presenting it as sophisticated, modern, and community-driven. Multilingual typography, mashrabiya-inspired patterns, and rotating café menus shaped by exhibiting artists reinforce the gallery’s mission: to celebrate Arab creativity while fostering dialogue across cultures.
