I’m Tanya Abdulrahim, a multidisciplinary designer working across branding, graphic design, and editorial. My practice is driven by curiosity, emotion, and a deep interest in how design shapes identity, tells stories, and creates connection.

Design, to me, goes far beyond aesthetics. It’s about building meaning and intention into every detail. I’m drawn to the thinking behind a project: what a brand wants to express, how it wants to be remembered, and how design can give it a distinct voice and presence across every touchpoint. Rather than simply solving problems, I approach design as a way to ask better questions, including those that haven’t yet been considered.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Design and a Master’s in Strategic Marketing and Communications, a combination that informs both the creative and strategic dimensions of my work. Through my studies, internships, and professional experience, I’ve explored design from multiple perspectives. From execution to creative direction, allowing me to shape not only visuals, but the broader narrative and positioning of a brand. I’m able to take ideas from concept to completion, from research and strategy to full creative execution across multiple touchpoints, ensuring that every stage is intentional, cohesive, and brought to life with clarity.

My work has also expanded into more tactile and spatial forms of design, including product, installation, and experiential storytelling. I enjoy moving between mediums, whether building something physical, developing a digital platform, or crafting an immersive environment. This multidisciplinary approach keeps my practice dynamic and continuously evolving.
